Charlotte Harbor Fishing

Charlotte Harbor is a natural estuary on the Gulf of Mexico and features 365 miles of canals, 190 miles of saltwater, and 175 miles of freshwater. Charlotte Harbor is known as a top sport fishing destination and features great fishing for many species including; Tarpon, Redfish, Cobia, Snook, Barracuda, Amberjack, King Mackerel, Spotted Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Grouper, Pompano, Triggerfish, Warmouth, Garfish and more. With miles of mangroves, bays, islands, tidal creeks, and grass flats you can spend an entire day catching a wide variety of fish. Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park is over 42,000 acres and is located along 70 miles of Charlotte Harbor shoreline.
