Crescent Lake Fishing

Crescent Lake is connected to the St. Johns River through Dunns Creek at the north end of the lake. Crescent Lake is known for good Largemouth Bass fishing thanks to the many bass fishing features including; sharp drops, ledges, shallow grass, canals, cypress trees, and logs. Bass fishing is good in the spring and fall, and good to fair during the summer on plastic worms and deep-running lures. Specks hit best during the cooler months on spinners, jigs, and live minnows. Crescent Lake is also known as one of the best Crappie fishing lakes in Florida. Crescent Lake has clear water with an average depth of 10 feet.
