Harris Chain of Lakes

The Harris Chain of Lakes is a popular chain of 9 lakes located in Lake County, Florida. The Harris Chain of Lakes is part of the Ocklawaha River Basin and has been ranked as one of the Top 100 bass fisheries in America. There is good fishing for many other species on the Harris Chain including; Black Crappie, Bluegill, Shellcracker, and Catfish.

Lake Harris

 

Lake Harris is the second largest of the Harris Chain of Lakes at 13,788 acres and features a shoreline cover of kissimmee grass, reeds, and cattails.

Little Lake Harris is 2,739 acres and is connected to the southeast corner of Lake Harris.
