Kissimmee Chain of Lakes

The Kissimmee Chain of Lakes is located in parts of Polk and Osceola Counties and features over 100,000 acres of water. The Kissimmee Chain of Lakes provides anglers the opportunity to catch a variety of fish on different lakes all in the same day. Largemouth Bass, Black Crappie, Bluegill, and Shellcracker can be caught on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes and there are a number of local and national fishing tournaments held every year.

Lake Toho

 

Lake Toho is 18,810 acres and known as one of the top largemouth bass fishing lakes in Florida. Lake Toho connects to East Lake Toho on the northeast shore through the non-navigable St. Cloud Canal and to Cypress Lake on the south end through the South Port Canal.

 

East Lake Toho

 

East Lake Toho is 11,968 acres and features relatively clear water with little open water vegetation.

 

Lake Kissimmee

 

Lake Kissimmee is 34,948 acres and is known for great largemouth bass fishing thanks in large part to the expansive vegetation. Lake Kissimmee is located within the Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area along with Lake Jackson and Lake Marian.

 

Lake Hatchineha

 

Lake Hatchineha is 6,665 acres and connects to Lake Kissimmee at the south end.

 

Cypress Lake

 

Cypress Lake is 4,097 acres and connects to Lake Toho on the northwest end and Lake Hatchineha on the southwest end.

 

Lake Walk in Water

 

Lake Walk-in-Water is 7,528 acres and is known for great largemouth bass fishing.

 

Lake Jackson

 

Lake Jackson is 1,020 acres and is located within the Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area along with Lake Kissimmee and Lake Marian.

 

Lake Marian

 

Lake Marian is 5,800 acres and is known for great black crappie fishing. Lake Marian is located within the Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area along with Lake Kissimmee and Lake Jackson.

 

Tiger Lake

 

Tiger Lake is 2,200 acres with an average depth of 8 feet and connects to Lake Kissimmee on the northeast corner.

 

Lake Rosalie

 

Lake Rosalie is 4,597 acres and connects to Lake Kissimmee by channel through Lake Kissimmee State Park.
