Orange Lake Fishing

Orange Lake is known for its darkly stained waters and heavy vegetation. Orange Lake is a shallow lake with an average depth of 6 feet and maximum depth of 10 feet. For successful bass fishing on Orange Lake try flipping, spinner baits, and lightly weighted plastic worms. Wild shiners are also a good bet for trophy sized bass on Orange Lake. The hydrilla flats at the north and south ends of Orange Lake are great places to catch crappie. Try using live shiners or small lures around vegetation and lily pads.
